Solution 1: Rename QBWUSER.in file

  • Rename the Entitlement Data Store.ECML file.
  • Now, if you can easily open the QuickBooks software after renaming the QBWuser.ini file as well as Entitlement Data Store.ECML file tries to open a sample file.
  • Lastly, tap on open a sample file from the drop-down menu bar.

  • Open the Windows Firewall with Advanced Settings.
