- Tap on the “Start” icon from your left side.
- Then put the cursor into the search box.
- inside the search box, you need to type the “Command” word.
- After that, hold the Ctrl + Shift and then hit the “Enter” key from your keyboard.
- Then you will get to see a black color window will open.
- Here, you need to type “Regedit” in small letter and then hit the “Enter” key.
- After that open your QuickBooks application in your system.
- From the “Program” drop download list you need to navigate the “QuickBooks folder”.
- After that go into the “File” menu and then tap on the “Export” button.
- Now you need to save the backup file on your desktop.
- In the end, give it to a suitable name for your backup file and save it with .reg extension and close the registry editor.
